Much to see –
more to discover
“Idyllic, full of poetry, a particularly tenderly moulded handful of Germany” – Eduard Mörike’s description of the Hohenlohe region is still valid today. A picturesque landscape with dense forests, orchards and vineyards is framed by magnificent castles and fortresses. The unique blend of natural and cultural experiences is complemented by a distinctive hospitality – Hohenlohe is also a gourmet region.

Kocher, Jagst and in between
The Kocher and Jagst rivers meander idyllically side by side through the Hohenlohe countryside. Enjoy both rivers and the surrounding nature on the Kocher-Jagst cycle path, get to know quaint villages and historic small towns and savour the culinary delights on offer.
Our surroundings also have a lot to offer hiking fans. In several daily stages, the Kocher-Jagst Trail leads past numerous castles, palaces and picturesque villages. The 200-kilometre circular hiking trail also offers numerous places to stop for refreshments.
