Is the castle freely accessible?
No, the castle and inner courtyard can only be visited with a guided tour. The surrounding castle park is freely accessible for walkers.
Is the tour of the castle barrier-free?
The castle tour at Langenburg Castle is not barrier-free. Please note that you will have to climb several flights of stairs to visit the museum. It is not permitted to remain in the inner courtyard until the end of a castle tour!
Are toilet visits possible during the castle tour?
It is not possible to use the restroom during the castle tour!
Can I visit the baroque garden?
Yes, the baroque garden is completely visible from the parking lot, but access to the garden is reserved for our orangery guests.
Do I have to register for the castle tour?
No, the castle tours always start on the hour and registration is not necessary. Registration is required for groups of 20 people or more.
Are guided tours also possible during the week in the low season?
Yes, group tours and special tours can also be booked during the week on request.
Can I park in front of the castle and is there a public toilet?
Yes, there are sufficient parking facilities (some of which are subject to a charge) on the castle grounds, and there is a public toilet in the sand hut next to the car museum.

Can I visit Langenburg Castle on an e-bike?
Yes, absolutely! We have wonderful cycle routes around Langenburg and through the Jagsttal valley. A charging station for e-bikes is located at the entrance to the car museum.
Where is the nearest e-filling station?
There is a charging station directly at the entrance to the castle parking lot.
